Oak Park Public Library
Beautiful architecture in a large variety of styles may be seen throughout the community.
Oak Park became the home to 23 homes designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright when he came here and set up his home and studio in the early 1900s.
Besides prairie style structures designed by Wright and others, Oak Park has many examples of Victorian architecture throughout the village.
Examples of modern architecture can be seen in nearby Chicago, including many works by Mies Van der Rohe.
